  45.        If you are installing this product for the first time, the
  46.        subsystems marked ``default'' are the ones that are
  47.        installed if you use the ``go'' menu item.  To install a
  48.        different set of subsystems, use the ``install,''
  49.        ``remove,'' ``keep,'' and ``step'' commands in _i_n_s_t to
  50.        customize the list of subsystems to be installed, then
  51.        select the ``go'' menu item.

  53.        Note:  The listed subsystem sizes are approximate. Refer to
  54.               the _I_R_I_S _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e for information

  92.        2.4  _P_r_e_r_e_q_u_i_s_i_t_e_s

  94.        OCTANE Compression and IMPACT Compression requires the
  95.        following software:

  97.           +o OCTANE and IMPACT Digital Media Base Execution
  98.             Environment, 6.5 (impactdm)

  100.           +o Digital Media Execution Environment, 6.5 (dmedia_eoe)

  102.        2.5  _C_o_m_p_a_t_i_b_i_l_i_t_y_:
  103.  
  104.           +o IMPACT Compression requires IMPACT Graphics. It will
  105.             not operate with XL, XZ, or other graphics subsystems.
  106.  
  107.           +o IMPACT Compression is compatible with IMPACT Video.  It
  108.             will not operate with  Galileo, Indigo2 Video or other
  109.             video subsystem.

  111.        2.6  _C_o_n_f_i_g_u_r_a_t_i_o_n__F_i_l_e_s

  113.        The video devices have certain configuration values. There
  114.        are factory defaults for each device stored in :
  115.  
  116.             /usr/etc/video/videod.defaults._d_e_v_i_c_e,
  117.  
  118.        where _d_e_v_i_c_e is impact for IMPACT Compression as well as
  119.        OCTANE Compression.  Using _v_i_d_e_o_p_a_n_e_l you can restore these,
  120.        as well as saving and restoring a local configuration in
  121.  
  122.             /usr/etc/video/videod.defaults.
